No one knows Tiki like The Bum. Jeff “Beachbum” Berry is a walking, talking encyclopedia of recipes, stories and myths from the world of Tiki drinks. Berry is a prolific author, and has spent years collecting lost and forgotten bits of ephemera from Tiki history. He also knows a thing or two about Tiki bars, and recently opened his own in New Orleans, Beachbum Berry’s Latitude 29. We’re honored to host him for an evening at Mockingbird Hill, and can’t think of a better send-off for our Sherry Goes Tiki menu (summer, sadly, can’t last forever).

We’ll be making our Mai Tai-loroso using Berry’s own Latitude 29 Formula Orgeat, and our friends from Salt & Sundry will be on hand selling copies of his latest book, Potions of the Caribbean. Come have a drink or two as the last days of summer roll by, and meet one of the most important and knowledgeable figures in the world of Tiki.
